Ponta do Corumbau – Corumbau is a fishermen village a 12 km for away from Caraiva, the trip crosses the Barra Velha indian territory with the possibility of visiting the “Porto do Boi” indian village. Arriving in Corumbau, after crossing the river in canoes, there’s a navy light house, in Corumbau you can dive (no scuba) in the coral reefs, walk by the calm beach or just enjoy the very good bahian fot in huts by the sand.
Espelho - Known as one of the most beautiful Brazilian beaches, Curuipe and Espelho are the two extreme of a same small beach. From Caraiva it’s 9 KM (Espelho) and 12 KM (curuipe) walking thru’ deserted beaches, fresh water lagoons and cliffs of rare beauty or you can go by boat in about one hour with the possibility of diving in the Tatuaçu reefs.
